Annaclone Christ Church (lisnasliggan)
Magherally St John The Evangelist
Saint John the Evangelist, Kilmacrew Road, Magherally
Christ Church, Church Road, Annaclone
We are a freindly and welcoming group of two parishes and our worship blends traditional and contemporary approaches. Sunday School for the Grouped Parishes is at 11.30 am in Magherally, except during school holidays. Prayers for the sick and anointing with oil are always available. Sunday worship in Magherally has recently been enhanced with a new audio–visual system. The service is aimed at the whole family and children and teenagers are encouraged to attend church each week, not just for All Age Worship on the 1st Sunday. There is no permanent creche but provision is made by request. Parish lunches, family picnics and other social events have helped to develop strong bonds between members with newcomers to the area welcomed and included.Throughout the week there are various activities to attract people with many different interests, including a very well attended midweek Communion on Thursday at 10.30am, followed by refreshments. Fund raising highlights include the Annaclone Summer Variety Sale and the Magherally Fun Day. Both events attracting large crowds.
