Dromore Cathedral seeks to provide meaningful worship for people of all ages through a variety of attractive, well produced services. Each Sunday we celebrate Holy Communion once, have an all age service called Celebrate at Ten incorporating group activity for children called DC Rock, and worship using Morning or Evening Prayer following the Book of Common Prayer patterns. Worship is led by members of the parish, lay and ordained, and an emphasis is placed on simple but strong preaching. We have organisations for various age and interest groups, both spiritual and recreational. We seek to extend our care and ministry to the world through active mission partnerships overseas.
Dromore Co Down is on the main Belfast to Dublin Road (A1) seven miles south of Lisburn, eight miles north of Banbridge. As you enter the town from the Lisburn off–slip, proceed through the Town Square until you reach a little roundabout at a Junction marking a choice between Lurgan and Banbridge. The Cathedral is at this corner. From Lurgan this junction is 400 metres beyond the bridge across the A1 dual carriage way. Arriving from Banbridge take the first entrance to Dromore on the right and proceed 1000 metres to the little roundabout.
A Car park at the Cathedral Hall on the Lurgan Road is provided.
