St John’s is a medium–sized parish with a warm congregation. Newcomers are made most welcome and there are plenty of opportunities for involvement in parish life. The Sunday worship pattern is Prayer Book, Series Two, with the exception of the 8.30am service, which is Holy Communion, Series One.
We hope to build on our strengths, especially in terms of increasing our co–operation with the other churches in Newcastle. We look forward to developing new ways of using our parish hall facilities aimed at building up our parish life and serving the local community. We are currently taking new initiatives in connection with the special Diocesan Year of Mission 2015.
