About Us
The Present
Dromore Cathedral seeks to provide meaningful worship for people of all ages through a variety of attractive, well produced services. Each Sunday we celebrate Holy Communion once, have an all age service called Celebrate at Ten incorporating group activity for children called DC Rock, and worship using Morning or Evening Prayer following the Book of Common Prayer patterns. Worship is led by members of the parish, lay and ordained, and an emphasis is placed on simple but strong preaching. We have organisations for various age and interest groups, both spiritual and recreational. We seek to extend our care and ministry to the world through active mission partnerships overseas.
The Future
The cathedral seeks to be a welcoming community, inviting people to find Christ, offering paths in discipleship to those who are ready to follow Christ, and creating opportunities for service in the local community and the wider world to its members. The church is committed to creating patterns of life and worship for all ages, catering for both younger and older members.
