About Us

The Present

Our parish is a caring Christian community here to proclaim God’s love. It serves the spiritual needs of its people by providing worship for all including a lively Sunday School and fellowship in its organisations. Here it also reaches out to the community providing a bowls club (twice weekly) badminton (at least twice weekly plus a junior club Saturdays) and a mixed voice cross community choir, Cantabile. We try to play our part in community affairs. The Kilbroney Centre in Rostrevor is a residential centre run with a Christian ethos by the Church of Ireland in the Diocese of Down and Dromore. The Centre provides a positive residential experience for groups staying there.

The Future

We intend to remain active in the community reaching out to others through our charitable giving. We encourage worship by all with a variety of music and a mix of traditional and modern liturgy. Lay members are actively involved in Sunday worship. The Kilbroney Centre is on the cusp of expansion and improvement and we are excited about its future.
