Down & Dromore Youth and Children’s Council

Youth and children’s work in the diocese has experienced record growth in the past year with 11 new positions being created in parishes and the total number of full and part–time personnel and interns reaching 40. These workers go under different titles but all are involved with children, youth or both in their day to day parish activities.

Down and Dromore Youth and Children’s Council (DDYC) supports and helps to develop this work through its two staff members:

• Children’s Development Officer : Julie Currie

They can offer, advice, resources, outreach opportunities and training – and a great BBQ at Summer Madness!
