Under 18s Ministry Coordinator, Orangefield
Are you gifted and enthusiastic in helping young people follow Jesus? The Parish of Orangefield (St John’s) Castlereagh Road, Belfast, seeks to appoint a (part–time) Under 18s Ministry Coordinator with a particular focus on young people to:
- Oversee our ministry to children and young people – and their families – under our Rector.
- Provide coordination and vision to our volunteers working with children.
- Engage directly with young people (12–18s) in our church and community to foster fun, friendships, and faith.
- Inspire and engage the wider church in this ministry.
We are looking for:
- A committed Christian, who can demonstrate a love for young people and a desire to help them begin and grow a relationship with God.
- A self–starter who will take prayerful initiative in developing ministry to children and young people, and their families.
- A well–organised communicator and team player.
Hours: 8–12 hours per week which must include Sundays (please note all face–to–face time is currently on a Sunday so this post might particularly suit a student.)
Salary: Salary is negotiable, depending on agreed hours and experience, within the range £6,550 to £10,403. (NJC Pay Scale Point range 20 to 23) per annum.
