A message from our Bible Week speaker
With just over a month to go before our 10th Bible Week, here’s a short message from our speaker, Revd Dr Iain Provan, the Marshall Sheppard Professor of Biblical Studies at Regent College, Vancouver.
Hi there! I am delighted to be the speaker at year’s Bishop’s Bible Week in Down and Dromore and I’m looking forward very much to being back in Northern Ireland again after my visit to New Horizon last summer.
Our theme is “The Big Picture: Reading the Bible for All That’s There,” and I’ll be sharing with you one of my passions – to get all of God’s people reading all of God’s Word (Old AND New Testaments) and understanding it as one Great Story in which we are supposed to live our lives.
So save the dates: the evenings of Tuesday August 30 until Friday September 2, 2016!
