Vacancy for part–time Organist/Choirmaster
The Parish of St John the Evangelist, Orangefield, Belfast, seeks to appoint an Organist/Choirmaster (part–time)
- to accompany the choir on the organ at our traditional services; and
- to lead, develop and grow this robed choir
We are looking for:
- a Christian who is enthusiastic about developing traditional worship within a local church setting
- an accomplished organ–player and musician experienced in leading worship alongside a choir
- a well organised communicator and team player
Hours and salary
12–16 hours per week including two services every Sunday, plus one evening’s choir practice each week. Salary is negotiable but based on the Royal School of Church Music recommended rates. range details available on request.
