Bobby’s 60 years of vestry service in Garvaghy
At the recent commissioning of the Garvaghy Select Vestry for the incoming year, the parish marked 60 years of service from 86 year old vestry member, Mr Bobby Lavery.
Bobby, who received his initial education at the Garvaghy School House (now the parish hall) has served the parish faithfully over the years in a whole variety of ways including the role of Rector’s Church Warden. He is also a lifelong supporter of Tottenham Hotspur FC!
The parish marked this 60 year milestone by presenting Bobby with a certificate and a small gift.
