Another brilliant confirmation season
We have had another brilliant confirmation season, starting in Greyabbey and after a short but busy period, finishing off in Magheradroll.
The theme for confirmations this year has been ‘You are God’s Masterpiece’ based on Ephesians 2: 10, with Bishop Harold posing the question, ‘Where do we find our value?’
It has been a real pleasure travelling to the various parishes to celebrate this milestone with the candidates. Each service has been special and unique in it’s own right, the candidates have been well celebrated and some incredible desserts have been eaten!
Confirmations were held in 11 parishes, with 18 parishes providing around 120 candidates. Thank you to everyone involved within those parishes – from the ministers and others who went through preparation with the candidates, to those who where involved in the services and providing food for afters. Everyone has worked to make this very important day special and memorable.
