Vacancy for a rector, Dundela
The Parish of St Mark, Dundela in the Church of Ireland Diocese of Down and Dromore seeks to appoint a RECTOR.
The parish is situated in East Belfast stretching eastwards from the Holywood Road to Craigantlet. It has 420 families in a representative mix of housing: private, public and care for senior citizens.
We wish to appoint a rector who will:
- Seek to deepen the spiritual life of all who worship by maintaining the existing traditional worship, dignified liturgy and choral music, and by developing contemporary worship.
- Offer pastoral care to all our parishioners, including those young families and children who may have limited involvement in the parish.
- Creatively seek to further our existing outreach within the local community and the wider church family.
