An encouragement from Bishop Justin in Maridi, South Sudan
Bishop Justin writes:
Dear brother bishop Harold and all friends
Today we give thanks to God for the long awaited formation of the government of national unity which was formed yesterday. Though it looks like an old wine put in a new wine skin, but we pray that it might put an end to the continued insecurity and sufferings which is going on in the country.
Today The 29th of April marks my 15th year in the office as the Diocesan bishop of Maridi. My sincere thanks and appreciation to all of you for your prayers, encouragement and support that has enabled me to continue provide leadership and guidance to the church of God amidst all challenges. My brother bishop Harold has been a role model to me for all these 15 years. I thank God for having brought me closer to him.
Thank you all and may the Spirit of God strengthen and guide us all for the journey ahead.
