New Community Choir proving a hit in Knockbreda Parish

As one of their Year of Mission initiatives, Knockbreda Parish has formed a Community Choir under the leadership of their own very talented, Andrew Thompson.

The choir first got together in early October and has grown to around 35 members so far. They sing all kinds of music, modern and traditional, and are enjoying both the singing and meeting new people.

Here’s what choir members are saying…

“I’m really enjoying it.  Lots of friendship shown – and the music’s good too.”

“Great fun and the quality of singing is excellent.”

“Great idea to bring people together.”

“After all, some of us do sing in the shower!”

The Community Choir will make their debut performance at the upcoming Christmas Craft Fair and Hog Roast.

Knockbreda has also just held a successful mission with Revd Trevor Johnston. You can see a photo gallery here.
