Register your willingness to help refugees via a new website

God has broken and softened many hearts towards refugees – both inside and outside of the Church but we want the swell of prayer and giving to last beyond the short term.

Spearheaded by Jasper Rutherford (Church Army and Summer Madness) the helprefugeesnow website has been set up to capture and harness all the goodwill and offers of help that have come from people, churches and communities.

Why register on the site?

So that in six months or the coming years when more and more refugees come to these shores the Church is ready and prepared to welcome, support, and care for them. Not just for their arrival – but for the years that they settle here.

The more people registering, the better we will be able to show that the Church should be part of the conversation when policies are drafted and decisions made.

The aim is also that this collected information will be a resource when the strategies and structures for a response are in place. We hope this site will allow a more effective response than if each church or denomination does its own thing.
