Men’s Event in 2016 – save the date and help us find a venue
The Diocesan Mission Council is partnering with Christian Vision for Men, Kingdom Men and the Diocesan Evangelist’s Team to put on a major Evangelistic Event for Men in 2016.
Please keep the date free – Saturday 18 June 2016 – but we’d also appreciate your help in locating the right venue, ideally within the diocesan boundaries.
What do we need?
A large outdoor space as we plan activities including displays from either mountain bikers or motor bikers; fun activities such as water sliding, hatchet throwing (!), archery etc as well as exhibitions of vintage bikes, cars and possibly farm machinery.
Alongside that we need a large indoor space for food and meeting – possibly a large farm building, empty warehouse, or other form of arena.
This is geared for reaching out to all the parishes in the diocese and we would like the venue to be accessible to all. We are investigating a few possibilities, but you might know of just the place. If so please contact one of the following with your ideas…
