LRA incursion in South Sudan. Please pray urgently
CMS Ireland has received the following email from the Bishop of Ezo (right) in Western Equatoria, South Sudan, which reveals a serious and frightening development in the area.
Greetings to you all from Ezo
We are writing to inform you on the current insecurity situation which we are in since two days ago.The American forces who monitor the LRA movements in Obo, Republic of Central Africa had informed those in Nzara South Sudan that they have seen a heavy armed LRA troops of 60 persons coming towards Ezo.
Yesterday a joined force of the American army in CAR and those in South Sudan base at Nzara and the AU small force which includes the SPLA spent night here in Ezo with the American spy plane.
This morning the plane is just in the air monitoring the situation in the border forests of the two neighboring countries including South Sudan. We very much value your prayer at this particular time when our people are supposed to be in their gardens planting some food crops and children go to school.
