Young people in road accident travelling from Maridi Evangelism Convention
Please pray for the recovery of 20 young people from Ibba Diocese, South Sudan who have been in a road accident.
They were coming back from an Evangelism Convention in Maridi Diocese when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned. Five of the young people are in a critical condition.
Bishop Justin (Maridi) writes:
“We had planned for a convention to be held in October bringing people from all the neighboring Dioceses in order to defuse tensions and build peace among people.This worked out well and last week over two thousand people attended the convention for four days and was concluded yesterday (Sunday 19) with over four thousand people. It is very sad that some of these youths from Ibba got this accident which we see as the devils attack. This evening the report I got is that their condition is a bit improving. We continue to pray that they all recover well. The rest of the other delegates have all reached their places well today (20 October).”
