Get ready for Bible Sunday 2014

The theme of Bible Sunday this year is ‘HONOUR’.  Based on verses from Deuteronomy 34 and Psalm 90, the material looks at the relationship that Moses had with our ‘Honourable God’ and reflects on what that means for us today.

The pack contains everything you need to help you prepare a meaningful Bible Sunday Worship Service. You will find a Sermon and accompanying PowerPoint as well as Prayers, Children’s Talk and information on Bible Access in our world today… not to mention all the additional material to assist you create a meaningful service. The material is free to download and adapt to suit your situation.

When is Bible Sunday 2014?

As always, there are some traditional dates on which Bible Sunday has been held, however, these are not set in stone. Please feel free to plan your Bible Sunday on a date that suits you best. If the traditional dates work well for your church they are:

Church of Ireland: 26 October (Fifth Sunday before Advent)

Presbyterian and Methodist Churches: 7 December (Second Sunday in Advent)

We are happy to contribute to any worship service over the next year, to encourage worshippers in their relationship with their Bible and the change that God is bringing, through His Word, to people all over the world. If we are free, we will be happy to take part in your Bible Sunday – whether you are sticking to a traditional date, or choosing an alternative one to suit your church calendar.
