Funeral of Canon Clive West
The funeral of Revd Canon Clive West will be in Dundonald Presbyterian Church (due to temporary closure of St Elizabeth’s) on Monday 1 September at 12 noon.
Canon West served most of his ministry in the Diocese of Connor but retired into the Diocese of Down and Dromore.
He was ordained deacon in 1964 and priest the following year. His first curacy was in Lisburn Cathedral, after which he served for 2 years as Assistant Master in Lisnagarvey Secondary School, Lisburn.
Clive served a second curacy in All Saints, Belfast, of which he was later to become rector after an incumbency in Mullabrack with Kilcluney (Armagh Diocese).
He was made a canon of Belfast Cathedral in 1995 and retired in 2000 after 16 years as rector of All Saints.
