Another fantastic Kilbroney Adventure Camp

The Junior Kilbroney Adventure camp has just finished, a week packed with activities, adventure and Bible teaching. An incredible week where we saw God lifted high and impact all of our lives for the good.

40 young people and 20 leaders had the time of their lives learning that they are ‘created for a purpose’.

The week was full of outdoor activities, indoor crafts and banter.

Each morning and evening the young people met to have a time set aside for teaching, learning from the key verse for the week “ For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”

Room inspections was definitely a highlight for the leaders as each morning after breakfast the cleaners came out, air freshener, perfume, dance routines, raps, songs, mountains of sweets to bribe etc . The criteria for room judging was ambience, smell and cleanness!!

During the day the young people had the chance to canoe, Kayak, gorge walk, rock climb, archery, ten challenge, hunt the leader, it’s a knockout and an assortment of crafts from making wallets to rope keyrings.

Each evening there were more team games and late night small groups.

A huge shout and massive thanks goes out to all the young people on camp  – you guys are awesome; and to the cooks, leaders and over all camp directors Brandy and Matt – you’re pretty awesome too:)
