Seven Prayer Points for the Gaza/Israel conflict
The Bible Societies in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank have asked us to keep praying for the situation. You will see the prayers below that help us focus our thoughts, praying:
- That the war and bloodshed will stop in Israel and the Gaza Strip and a peaceful settlement can be negotiated urgently.
- That demonstrations will be peaceful and won’t lead to violence and further loss of life.
- Pray for God to comfort all those suffering the pain of losing loved ones – especially children.
- For the Israeli & Palestinian leaders – that they will have wisdom and integrity to act in the best interests of their people.
- Pray for all Christians to be salt and light in their communities. That God will protect them physically and spiritually with God’s love and peace.
- Pray for reconciliation and peace between different communities.
- Pray for the three Bibles Societies in the immediate situation, that they will have wisdom in serving their people at this testing time.
